Alishia sparks

Alishia Sparks is a dance educator, choreographer, adjudicator, creative director, and performing

arts professional with nearly two decades of experience in dance, entertainment, and professional

sports.

A graduate of Point Park University, Alishia received extensive classical training while earning

more than seven certifications through the International Cecchetti Dance Council. She later

became both a certified instructor and adjudicator with Dance Masters of America, where she has

been privileged to educate, mentor, and evaluate dancers throughout the Midwest.

Her career spans the worlds of concert dance, competitive dance, commercial entertainment, and

professional sports. Alishia currently serves as the Chief Director of Glam for the Cleveland

Cavaliers Dance Team and Cavs Entertainment, where she oversees the visual presentation of

one of the NBA's premier entertainment organizations. This role has strengthened her passion for

preparing dancers to excel both on stage and in professional performance environments.

As the founder of SparkD Enterprises LLC, Alishia has worked with performers, choreographers,

and creative teams across live entertainment, television, fashion, and sports. Her background

allows her to mentor dancers beyond technique, emphasizing professionalism, confidence, stage

presence, and career readiness.

Alishia's teaching philosophy centers on building technically strong, versatile artists who lead with

discipline, creativity, and authenticity. She believes dance education should inspire confidence

while equipping students with the tools needed to thrive in both collegiate and professional settings.

Known for her positive energy, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, Alishia is

passionate about investing in the next generation of performers. She is honored to share her

experience with aspiring dancers and is dedicated to helping each student reach their highest

artistic potential.
