Jenny Kohler

Jenny Kohler is a seasoned ballet professional with over 25 years of experience in the dance world.
For more than two decades, she has taught across New York, California, Virginia, and Florida, working
with dancers from early childhood through pre-professional levels. She is known for her consistent,
positive approach and her ability to cultivate both strong technique and a lasting passion for ballet.

Throughout her career, Jenny has trained with a distinguished group of teachers, including Magda
Aunon, Magaly Suarez, Anne and Nick Polajenko, Claudia Cravey, Franco De Vita, Raymond Lukens,
Maxine Mahon, Judith Sharp, and Denise Dabrowski. She earned certification in Progressive Ballet
Technique in 2018 and achieved ABT® National Training Curriculum certification (Pre-Primary through
Level 5) in 2021.

Jenny serves as Program Director of Elite Classical Training & Coaching (Montclair, VA), where she
has developed a focused, performance-driven training program. Her students have competed at Youth
America Grand Prix (YAGP) and have placed Top 12 at the DC Grand Prix, reflecting the strength and
quality of her coaching.

Her passion for coaching and choreography has led her to direct and produce full-length ballets
including The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Wicked the Ballet, The Little Mermaid, and
an upcoming production of Frozen (December 2026), while also preparing dancers for prestigious
competitions such as YAGP. As a professional ballerina, Jenny performed a wide repertoire spanning
classical and contemporary works, including The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, A Midsummer Night’s
Dream, The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Les Sylphides, Paquita, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, The Little
Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, and Beauty and the Beast, among other original productions.

Her career includes working under the direction of renowned choreographers such as Robert Sund,
Toni Pimble, Maxine Mahon, Jennifer Curry Wingrove, Wayne Davis, Summer Jones, and Francisco
Gella. In 2005, she was honored as Dancer of the Year by the California Ballet Company.

With a discerning eye for detail and a deep commitment to artistry, Jenny cultivates dancers who
embody both technical excellence and authentic performance quality.
